Wood blinds are great for aesthetics and insulation. But they are not known for being affordable. A good alternative is faux wood blinds. They look like wood but are produced from manmade materials. They come at a more affordable price and are a little more durable. And, because they are water resistant you can wash these blinds with water and mild detergent. You can wash them slat by slat, or hang them up and spray them from the hose or shower. Just be sure to allow them time to fully dry before hanging them back up.
